The Spiritualists National Union (SNU)   The Spiritualists' National Union is a recognised national body in the United Kingdom for Spiritualism as based upon the Seven Principles. It is a non-profit-making company and is registered as a religious charity with the Charity Commission. Battersea Spiritualist Church are grateful for their consent in the use of some content from their website.

The Two Worlds Magazine   Emma Hardinge Britten founded Two Worlds magazine in 1887.Full of information and list of Spiritualist Churches around the country.

The Spiritualist Association of Great Britain (SAGB)  The SAGB, as it is more commonly known is a highly respected Spiritualist Organisation based in Belgrave Square London. The association offers teaching, Spirit Communication demonstrations as well as healing. SAGB was founded in 1872.

The Institute of Spiritualist Mediums (ISM)   An Organisation dedicated to the Promotion, Teaching and Development of Spirit Communication. The Institute of Spiritualist Mediums, or ISM as it is more commonly known, is intent on raising the standard of mediumship. The Institute as an educational body, offers opportunities to individuals to workshops, seminars, study days and residential studies. 

The Healing Trust (NFSH)   The Healing Trust also known as the NFSH (The National Federation of Spiritual Healers). Founded in 1954. Runs courses in Spiritual Healing and works to promote public health by making spiritual healing available on the NHS. Harry Edwards was a President of the NFSH.

The Corinthian Church & Healing Association:  The Corinthian Church Healing Association (CCHA) was founded in 1993 by Rev Ron Jones and his wife Valerie. Both had been involved with the Spiritualist movement for over 30 years working as Mediums and Healers. The Corinthian Church and Healing Organisation A Registered Charity in England & Wales No: 1069061 Registered in Scotland under number – SC040146. 

The Greater World Christian Spiritualist Organisation   The greater world began in 1921 through the mediumship of Miss Winifred Moyes. The Christ inspired teachings were given in a trance state.  

The College of Psychic Studies   The College, which initially started as 'The Spiritual Alliance' and acquired the present premises in 1925. In 1955 the name was changed to The college of Psychic science and again in 1970 to the College of Psychic Studies, to explore the realm of Consciousnes. In the 1920's, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was the President. The College is based in South Kensington.

The Theosophical Society in England: The word Theosophy has been used for many centuries, it is of Greek origin meaning Wisdom of the Gods (theo - of Gods, sophia – wisdom).   Wisdom cannot be enclosed within words, it is a Truth which must be discovered and experienced by each one for themselves.  Theosophy, sometimes known as the Ageless Wisdom, is the Light which shines through the many coloured lamps of religion.  It is the thread of truth in scriptures, creeds, symbols, myths and rituals.  Divine Wisdom is One, the paths towards it are many.

Reiki  Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese name consisting of 2 words Rei and Ki meaning spiritually guided life energy (commonly known as Universal Life Energy), an energy which animates us all and is found all around us. Reiki is a form of spiritual healing using "universal life energy" channelled through the practitioner to the recipient. Reiki helps to harmonize body, mind and spirit.
